REDUCING STRESS WITH VALERIAN ROOT
Valerian root is a very effective muscle relaxant and/or sedative because it relaxes both smooth muscle tissue (muscle tissue in arteries and airways) and skeletal muscle tissue.
Along with soothing muscle aches, valerian can be a valuable aid for stress-related disorders -- such as muscle tension, stress-headaches, etc. It can even help to counteract asthma symptoms
